not hittin vtec
yo guys i have a 93 honda civic hatch .. its a cx and i have a b16a.... well i used a p05 ecu so i could break in the mota.... but when my p28 came in i plugged it in and it didn't hit vtec ..... my friend just got his swap from hmotors and i used his p30 and it still didn't work.... the thing is when i had the p05 my check engine light wasent on ... but with the p28 and the p30 my check engine light is on ... wtf ... i ran the codes and im shootin code 22,19 and 41 ... how can i fix code 22 so i can have my bseries vtec back
why would you use a p05 ecu to break it in....
you lucky that **** didnt break down from lack of fuel
is the p28 chipped?
also are the ecu you used both automatic or do you have a automatic tranny?
as for code 22 and 41 check your wiring
also check your oil level

btw my vtec oil sensor is non existant its broke off ... i was told to take the wire and ground it ... but im not sure if this is right... what else can i do???
