p28 ecu chipped obdI with code 22....how to fix?
I have p28 ecu chipped obdI Took in to have ecu looked at and CEL flashes 2 long and 2 quick. Code 22 i believe. Anyone know some common occurences for this? I'm going to check VTEC solenoid oil pressure switch but I think its just an intermittent loose wire down at the ecu plug in. Anyone know which wire is for the VTEC?
Motor runs strong and no issues with anything else. Only thing is CEL and VTEC not engaging.

Is this a new swap or something that just started happening?
Before anything, check your oil level. This code typically comes up when you don't have enough oil in the engine to trigger vtec. If your oil checks out to be ok, it could be wiring. Check your wires coming off the vtec solenoid. Next would be the vtec solenoid. If you have another one that is known to work then try it. If a known working solenoid fails to fix the problem then your oil pump is probably at fault.

Re: p28 ecu chipped obdI with code 22....how to fix?
It started after I took car into local shop. I recently bought the car and it had a slight miss, so I had it looked at to see if all it needed was a tune or maybe something more. I think the mechanic may have accidently pulled out one of the wires going to the ECU or maybe just loosened it.
I checked oil level and also oil pressure first thing. I believe my issue is down at the ECU plug in. After doing some research, i found that A8 and B5 wire slots are for VTEC Solenoid and Pressure switch. Hopefully my issue is just an unconnected or loose wire. If not then I will move on to cleaning the solenoid and maybe even replacing it.
The VTEC cracked hard on the way to shop and CEL came on immediately after finishing up at the shop.
Anymore input would be gladly appreciated.
