revhard makes a log style for 500
Stanford Fabrications makes some decent manifolds also. check out 7thgencivic.com they have a big sticky on manifolds there.

The good companies only make cams for the EX. Would having an extra set of lobes be good/bad in my LX?

Same with almost all other parts. I just got an OBX header, so I don't think it will last too long, but it's the only TRUE direct fit.

im not hatin, but i heard the D17 was a shitbox with the crappiest rods ever built, and mechanically very weak.

So i guess rods, pistons, sleeves, EVERYTHING internally, haha.

crower now makes all internals for d17a2 a bit pricey though since they just came out. The best turbokit is dezod performance. very good fabrication, they make good manifolds to i heard. dezodperformance.com i think is the website. The d17a2 aint bad there are people running good numbers with it. You can make any engine good with time and money.

Incorrect, for us people with the LX, the BEST header is a Kamikaze header, which is arguably the best header made for any D17. Great Flow and a 2 1/4" collector. They are just hard to find

I love would to see a good Intake manifold, so i could get rid of this Plastic POS that our d17's have.

As well i would like to see an affordable alternative to the expensive d17 turbo's.
Like a JR SC, in the 2000 price range.
Since the d16 turbo's are now like 1800 new/ 1300 used, i think they should be able to pump out a d17 SC for a little bit more.

Sure id rather have a 9psi turbo d17 making 200 WHP, but not for the $5000 it takes, id be happy with 150 ish for $2000.

Also, yes crower makes a cam for the d17a2, but it is HARD to work with, requiring EMS to get it to properly function.

it's http://www.dezod.com

JR has already confirmed they won't be doing one for the D17, but who knows with enough "bugging"

damn, i was hoping JR would make a d17 SC. that ruins my night, o well. My N1 Exhaust and AEM intake came in, so that will keep me busy and happy for a day or 2.
