Default k&n recharger kit

What's the cheapest place to pick one up? pepboy, autozone? And how often are u suppose to recharge the cone. I read something like every 30-40k?

i picked mine up at autozone for $9.99. i think thats just about the average price.

Yep I got mine at Autozone for that price...works well. I could tell a difference in the tone of the fliter after it was thoroughly cleaned, too. You should give it a try. I believe I cleaned mine after about 15k miles.

K&N says:
1) Service every 50,000 -100,000 miles on street driven applications.
2) Service often in off-road or heavy dust conditions or when air filter reaches 18" of restrictions.
3) Let the dirt "build-up" work for you; it will not hurt the performance and actually help filter the air.
