DPFI to MPFI do not have DPFI harness
I have a 89 crx dx I'm putting a 89 SI motor in the car.
Car did not come with a DPFI engine harness.
I do have the Si engine harness.
The si harness plugs up to the dx avery where, will not plug in to the big plug at the resistor box.
Any help?

Your talking about the Barel plug?
If thats the problem. I would go to the junk yard, pick and pull, and cut out a round barel plug that you need.
Leave enough wire on it.
Take the pins out of your harness, remove the pins of the plug you got from the junkyard. Plug the pins to the round plug you got from the junkyard. match them up with the colors of the plug on your car.
I had to do this for my b16 conversion. I had to move around the Dizzy plug wires.
Removing the pins is about the same as removing the pins in the ECU plugs. Search around here, you will find it.

You can NOT put a Si harness in a DX chassis and expect it to work.
If it were easy, why would people do DPFI to MPFI wiring. Think about it, it doesn't match.
If you buy a Rywire DPFI to MPFI conversion, we have DX cores for $75 extra.
We can get your car back on the road in 7 days.

Not to step on the toes of the guy trying to sell complete harnesses, but you can get a DX harness to convert at a junkyard. I challenge you to go to a single decent junkyard and not find a DX harness. As long as you know how to solder, the wiring isn't that bad.
If you've never wired before or hate doing it, buy the prefab.

Done with the harness used a DX and solderd avery thing.
