HPDE 1 Pictures. West Palm Beach Florida. First Time Out
Well I just did HPDE for the first time. I had alot of fun, and figured I would show you peeps some pictures of the event. This was in West Palm Beach, Florida at Moroso Motorsports Park

It only gets better the more times you go out...once you improve your driving you'll have a better time on the track.
That course looks tiny...a little scary even...
Is that front straight the passing zone?
Nice ef...gets some brakes and tires and you'll serve some STIs
Jk...you need POwA too...LOL

Its a 2.25 mile course. That straight is one of the passing zones. There are 3 passing zones. The course is not bad. But my brother could not get to the further parts of the track to take pictures.
It was really fun. Most of the people there came up to me after my third session and told me how much I improved from my first. The only thing that i need to work on is my Heel/Toe.

Sounds like a blast!
Any tips for first time HPDE'ers now that you have your first one under your belt? I'm hoping to take my car out next season.

I'm glad you had fun for the first time on a track. The only thing I hate about moroso is, they make so much $$$ but the track and safety is still crap.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I am thinking about buying a set of Falken Azenis 205 50 15 for all the way around on the car. Does that sound like a good idea, or would you guys choose a different tire?

If you suck at it, don't worry too much, it's not that valuable on a FF car. You probably have more to learn than you think, if that's "the only thing" you have to work on

I am not saying thats the only thing i need to work on. But that was the only thing the instructor told me i need to work on. It was only my first time out. So i surly need alot of driving and pratice before I will even consider myself good. Alot of people came up to me and told me how much i improved from my first session to my third. But there is still tons more room for improvment, and that will only come from more time at the track.
I cant wait until the next time I can go on the track again. It was alot of fun, and I really want to become a better driver.
