My civic got rear ended about a month ago and I think its going to be a write off so I will be on the hunt for a new chassis. After driving around in my skyline, I have really become attached to the RHD deal. So I put this question out, Where is the best place to pickup a RHD EF2/EF3/EF9? And please dont just say Japan. Oh and I am currently running a d16z6 turbo so I would like to find a chassis that is d-series accepting.

ill tell you one thing. if i had a skyline, i shure wouldnt be trying to make my honda fast. but thats just me.

You don't want to hear it but get it shipped from Japan. You are in Canada correct? Much better access than we have down here...

 

i would actually perferre one without a powertrain so i could just bolt in my d16z6 turbo and not have to worry about another engine. Plus I am selling my skyline for 14,000 canadian in the next few weeks. there were 10 skylines in winnipeg and in the last year 4 have been destroyed, 2 burned and 2 stolen and destroyed. I surely dont need that. And I feel better fixing a $100.00 d-series tranny than a 600.00 rb20det tranny.

craigslist has them, well in california that is. there are a lot of them for the craigslist for the los angeles,ca area, there are a lot of rhd cars imported there. there was a rhd eg6 sir on craigslist for the san francisco,ca area. there is a jdm importer in your area. last time i checked the search function was not working. but it was posted about a month ago, this guy had just imported a rhd crx sir, with glass top roof (somewhere in canada)
