Like the title say, I thought I share couple of new video clips from the most recent track day at Streets of Willow (hosted by Redlinetrackevents.com). Oh, this was with my Prelude on the near brand new Kumho r-compound tires. The first video was what I called "The STi Chase". I was chasing a STi on course. It was obvious that he was slower in the turns, but he was so unwilling to let me pass. He pushed so hard trying to stay ahead of me, end results were that he went off course twice and missed most of his apexes. And finally, my friend who was the lead instructor of the day saw what happened, and ordered a black flag on the STi. The second video was the lap immediately after I passed the STi. It was the fastest lap of the day, approx. 1:34.5.

Pretty sure that was the same guy who was trying to hold me back, too. Somehow I thought it was white though. Jeremy told me he gave my guy a black flag for the same thing. So is that two STi guys getting a black flag each, or one guy and two BFs? I'm so confused...

You mean your fastest TOD, right? I was shamefully running low 33's. Bernardo jumped in my car an turned a few 31s. What a dick.

Its a rally car, hes just got different apexes than the rest of us.

I don't know, it could very well be the same guy. When I went back to the garage, Jeremy did tell me that an STi also didn't let you by as well.

Yeah, it was my fastest TOD, not fastest TOD of everyone. I knew Bernardo did couple of 1:31s in your car. Very impressive. I'm still hoping that in about a year, my car will be ready for some HC H1 action. :finger-crossing: Haha...

I managed a 1:37 at some point during the day, which i was fairly proud of--6 seconds behind bernardo in the thawley mobile is better than 22 seconds behind everyone at BW this past summer

i think my actually knowing the line really helped cut down lap times
