does anyone know how to install a an alarm system in a 96 integra? could i do it myself or should i take it to a shop? i installed my audio system and that was a joke, would this be just as easy or no? does anyone have diagrams? i used to have an alarm but it was all messed up and my brother got the wires cut or something, is there more work to be done because of that. let me know about alarms on your integras. thanks

 

Installing an alarm is more complicated then installing a stereo system.

It is always more work to install an alarm if there is already an alarm in the car that has to be removed.

If you are comfortable around the wiring under the dash of your car and you know how to solder, and you have and know how to use a multimeter, or at least a good test light and you don't need to rush the job, then yes you can probably do the job.
