so finally i'm getting my s2k next week the car has 42k miles, of course i want to make Sure the car is in good condition, specially engine, ( buying from private seller) and i live 5 hours from the seller, so this need to be done

How much you think the honda dealer will charge me to check the car? or any local shop?

 

260 for a complete diagnostic last time I went in.

260 seems more like the number a dealership would charge, but I can't see it being that much. I bet it is closer to the $80.00 range...or so I would hope.

 

I took the AP1 in for a complete diagnostic after the motor swap. The whole drivetrain was checked, wiring, and cleared some previous ECU codes. Forgot to mention I had the A/C recharged, and a new O2 sensor.

 

i bet the A/C recharge and the O2 sensor were a large portion of that. eh?
