Default F%#^ ME!

Ok here is how it went, i went to the track, my oil cap popped off thats right popped off. oil goes everywhere, i dont exactally know how much but come to find out it wasnt that much. anyway so me thinking that i was fucked, with a car with no oil went to my friends car for more 10W-30 it was like a 5 qt jug, needless to say my dumb *** adds the whole thing. so now it is smoking like a mother(by the way this has nothing to do with my last topic). now i'm going to drain some of the oil out in the morning. so is there anything else i need to do or look for so i dont screw my car up?

I would drain everything before you drive it any further and do a clean oil change. If your oil isnt dirty, you can reuse it. Have an empty oil bottle handy for measuring.

IMHO i think maybe you should have checked the "DIPSTICK" before you added 5 more qts. of oil.

Just do the oil change and see if that helps the smoking. The only other thing to check is the seals, to see if they are leaking any fluid. But yeah, why not check the dipstick and still put in 1.5-2 quarts more than you need??
