do you guys know if it's a characteristics of the VTEC engine to have a slow throttle response? I feel like every time i floor the gas in my friend's V6 accord it takes 1-3 seconds before the acceleration comes on.

 

vtec doesnt kik in til u hit higher RPMS...and the tourque in our hondas arent in the lower RPMs...but u said its the V6, i always thought they accelerated pretty well, but thats comapred to my sohn non-vtec four
