What b18c-2-EK mounts to use?
K, so im trying to figure out what mounts to use and what benefits, if any, i will see by going to Hasport. A couple of questions for you swap-experienced guys:
1)Aledgely, i have to get Hasport to keep my A/C. Is that true?
2)I've seen some AVID mounts on ebay. Are those any good?
3)If i wanted to go cheap and just buy some OEM mounts, what are good ones to get for my Ej8?
Recommendations please!

i went the cheap way use my stock mounts except driver side 99-00 motor mount (one on the motor) and a rear tranny bracket... plus some inserts.. feels good.. but i doubt it's as stiff as hasports tho.. oh and you're gonna need the two torque mounts...

two torque mounts? HuH? I'm looking at Hasport's website and they dont sell 'torque mounts'. Please elaborate. Also, when you say 'stiff', are the cheap mounts as good as OEM mounts or better?

i swapped a b16, not a b18, but i used stock mounts with energy suspension inserts, it feels nice, its pretty stiff, hasport ones will be stiffer for sure, but you may run into things like rough idle, like coins in your ash tray will vibrate like no other :-)
but asfar as performance, HASPORT
just try read around, see what people say about the mounts n stuff they used, and get an idea of it, and apply it to what goal you are trying to achieve...
hope that helps cya

buy stock if you can unless you need custom for swaps and fill them with window weld... i did that to my front lower motor mounts and it does benefit... or you if you have the money to spend just go with hasport--they make quality stuff

basically, when i pull up Avid, Enjo or Hasport they mention that the mounts for my car (97 ex) are OEM for D AND B series. So am i to assume that the mounts in my car will work just fine with my new B18? and can someone please tell me how i keep my A/C!!!
update.
I'm already lowered w/17'' &205/40 tires, i dont need a ROUGHER ride....no dice for the Avid and the Enjo because they're made for racing. Hasport at least makes 3 types of inserts. Too bad they dont make 'soft street' or something like that.

You are my ****** hero. F--- that $#!t, payin $400 for what i already have. All i need is a rear mount....geez, wish you came along earlier. And with the A/C mounting bracket, do you know that for sure?

I have researched on B18 swaps (haven't done one yet so can't tell you for sure if it will work or not) but according to Lawrence (http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/6g...wrence-6g.html) it works.
All you need is a rear motor mount and modifying the wiring harness. That's it. When you put the engine in, make sure you hook up the rear motor mount first, and align the engine from there.
as far as softer motor mounts go, that's why i suggested filling stock ones with window weld... it does harden but there's still stock (soft) rubber in there which makes for less vibrations... so you basically get the best of both worlds when you do your own motor mount... instead of window weld, you can also get your own urethane and the choose the grade that you like (there are softer and harder grades) so you can fill your mounts with that... window weld worked fine for me and it was cheap (15 bucks... i filled two mounts and i got urethane for two more)
