Default CF trunk on ITR

i was wondering if anybody has the CF trunk on their ITR's?...i heard you have to modify the latch and stuff...any infos would be a help...

I believe you have to use your old latches, and glass on the carbon fiber trunks.

NOt really worth it in my opinion, but they look sweet

yea its not really worth it but it does save alot of weight and it looks sweet as well...

It doesnt save much if you use the stock glass. I think i remember hearing something between 7-15 lbs total. They look good if thats what you're goin for though

Since you guys were talking about the carbon trunk. The carbon trunk I have uses all the stock latches.

Yes, you can use the FAL or Braille window kit. They start at $400 for the window kit and about $75.00 for the factory molding.

I'm about to put 1 on my car in a week or so.

I will let you guys know about the weight of the Fal window and trunk compared to stock.

That was from another thread but basically a molded scratch resistant polymer window. FAL is just one of the companies that makes one.
