Default "Carbotech rocks" thread #3204972

not that its news, but i just wanted to once again express my gratitude towards carbotech and matt. i got a set of pads for my 240 in prepartion for summit in a few weeks, but the front pads were the wrong size because nissan engineers are retarded. i didnt really have time to deal with this as i will be going out of town for the next two weeks, so matt went ahead and shipped out the right pads and included a return label for the old ones which i got yesterday. matt is definitely the man when it comes to customer service. so if it hasnt been said enough in rr/ax on h-t, carbotech is almost as fast, cheap and easy to deal with than RJ's mom.

carbotech kicks a lot of ***.

I have been doing this **** for a while now at this point, and nearly every set of pads I've used on my various track cars has been carbotech - and they have NEVER, i mean not once let me down in the quality of the product, fitment or shipping on time. Never. I cant say that about any other vendor, and probably never will.

Yeah, Matt kicks ***.

No Matt, Carbotech would be in a world of hurt.

John- who knows what goes on down there in Shelby and would have doubled Matt's Salary years ago if he were in charge.

Must be nice to be able to just "cook up a set".

i also love carbotech.

introduced to them by Madison Motorsports, RJ, and H-T at the same time and the first purchase was very easy.

I recently ordered a set of xp-10's and rotors (good deal) and they shipped out the same day. Any inqueries and they're able to handle them. A big for carbotech!

This must one on those East-West things with a little South throw in for good measure.

I don't know anyone using Carbotech's - and of course this isn't to say they are not great pads - it's just I don't know anyone using them. I'm sure some people in the West use these pads but I just don't know any of them.

Hawk, Cobalt, and Porterfield's are common in the West.

^^ west coast guy running spec VR's Front and XP8 Rears. love them both.

Cept apparently i missed out by buying the xp8's on the secondary market and didn't have the pleasure of dealing w/ matt and the 'tech. carbotech.

so hard to find parts suppliers that don't put a massive wrinkle in the "getthecarready" madcap dash, it's great when people actually do.

West Coaster here. I've used Porterfield, Cobalt and Carbotech. Carbotech were my first trully high pef. pads. Great pads... dealt with Matt... as everyone says, great and helpful guy.

I have a set of XP-9 front pads sitting here waiting to be installed... hopefully I'll get them done and bedded in for this upcoming weekend at WSIR if time allows.
