I just got my car painted champ white like 4 1/2 months ago...i'm thinking about picking up some meguires NXT wax and waxing my car!! is it okay to wax yet? and if so do you have any tips??

also is there any other better waxes?

k cool..o and i ment to ask..when i installed my apexi n1 exhaust it spit out some black oily **** on my back bumper the 1st day, and it wont come off with just soap!?! should the wax take it off?? i heard new exhaust's do that

 

First thing yes you should be fine waxing now, they usually say wait a month for the paint to harden.

NXT is a awsome wax, just make sure you appy it with a foam pad "supplied with the wax". With NXT you want to put as little as possible on, it goes along way, to thick and you may see some darker spots in your paint.

When you have a free weekend this is what I would suggest to make it car show quality.

Meguars or Mothers clay bar
Meguars Cleaner Wax
Mothers phase 2 "Polish"
Meguiars NXT

Then on top of that apply some pure carnuba wax "meguars phase 3"

Try NXT speed detailer to keep the shine also.
