the search server is down right now.. and i was wondering how do you make it so 9005 bulbs can fit into the headlight socket. do have to shave down the 2 plastic pieces sticking out inside the plug? how would i go about doing this? it seems so hard to fit into the small area.. any suggestions?

 

yes u shave off those thing stickign out inside the plug, and u also have to shave off a little of the top tab on the bulb, just put it up againest a 9006 and u will see hwat tab i am talking about

I used an xacto knife. I did this with my HiR bulb conversion. If you go to google, it'll turn up a how to thread on a BMW forum and tehy have pics

 

also, i found oem replacement bulbs, not the stupid blue ones last longer, look better, and give more light.
