Fuel Pump Issues!!!!!! Please Help!!!!!!
Ok just to give you a little history i have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex.... mileage is up at about 82-85,000. Being that the mileage is where it is I knew it was time for some service. One day while i was driving i was cruising, shifted to 3rd gear and the car stalled out. My car did not start for 30 mins there after. I got it to a local shop and got all my belts changed out, as i had symoptoms of this needing to be done prior to the incident. Now after the timing belt was changed my fuel pump started squeeling.... and the car started sputtering. After a couple of weeks of me telling myself it was time for the pump the be changed... my car wouldnt start. So i bought the fuel pump and changed it out. Now the car wont start. It cranks and turns over but wont fire.....any suggestions?
Is your pump even coming on. Turn the key to the on position do u hear it whinning if not then check the wires to the pump then check your fuel pump relay.
I had that issue right now. Sometimes it just wouldnt start. I dont even hear my fuel pump turn on. Keep trying and it will eventually fire right up!
