do you like the ap2's better?
i did a google search. i searched "difference between 2000 s2000 and 2004 s2000" all i get back is stuff from temple of vtec and specs on a 2000 and specs on a 2004. nothing to compare and contrast the two in, in depth detail like the gearing, headlights, bumpers and all the stuff mentioned above.

Comparing and contrasting the 05 GPW and 01 Berlina in my sig, the AP2 has:
2.2L, 8k redline, different cluster, dash clock, 2 cupholders, different color combos, 17s, different tires, different front brake pads, revised rear susp. geometry, stiffer front/softer rear spring rates and anti-roll bars, different headlights, LED taillights, larger bolts on the driveshaft, shorter 1st-4th gear, slightly taller 5th n 6th, carbon synchros, revised EPS sensitivity/feel, tweeters in the door/door panels, rear glass/defroster, different F/R bumpers.
While the AP1 feels light and tossable, the AP2 feels more rigid and stable. If I missed anything please add.

And yeah...differences between the AP1 and AP2 is pretty substantial. Performance differences...not so much.

No problem man. I think I'm one of the few that has both side by side for comparison. The AP1 makes a great low-maintenance track car with the few parts I have on it, and some kick-*** tires. The AP2 is the street car, until that 2.2 gets fed boost.

I wish i could afford to feed my ap2 some boost.

Boost is so promising on the 2.2, since the 2.0 has been boosted with much success.
Headlight washers are good for messing up carwashes.
