Default help with an ecu

hey umm i just picked up a crx with a b16a3 and ls cable tranny no major upgrades just an intake and a fat *** fluidyne radiator ...im defianlty goin turbo and its in an 88 crx hf...the guy was running an ls ecu obd-0 (cuz the crx is obd-0) and then converted it for awhile to obd-1 del sol vtec p-30 (the ecu that machtes the eninge)...well he needed the ecu so he has it and the ls ecu (pr4) is in my car...so yeah vtec does not crack right now (but i took it up past 8 grand today, i dont kno how far tho cuz the crx rpm ends at 8,000)...well one guy told me he could sell me a pr3 (obd-0 si jdm he said) for 80 bux (apparently it has an 8500 redline) but someone said that was obd-2 and my other friend said he could sell me a p2t (obd-2 99-00 si usdm) for 50 bux or a p28 for 100 bux...id have to buy a jumper harness for the p2t and p28 and apperantly the pr3 just hooks right up but if not id have to buy jumper harness...so i was just wondering wut u guys think i should do...thanx for the help if i get any...and keep in mind that im gonna for sure build the enigne (prolly not for like 3 months tho)

OBD0 PR3 will be fine. Its a B16 with slightly higher compression then 1st gens but not too much. If you looking at it $$$ stick with the OBD0 PR3 and add the xtra 02 sensor or split the single to both ECU pins. If you go OBD1 P30 you'll need the jumper harness, heated 02 sensor and a new distributor so it will be more then 100 on top of the price of the ECU. Dont even mess with the OBD2B P2T too much work and not worth it.

so dont mess with the p2t cuz that was the orignal one he recommended and he said he would help install it...all he told me was id need a new jumper harness...nuthin about a ditributor or anything man...so pr3 would be the best cuz no other stuff would have to be changed like dist. or anything?

Dont use the P2T. You'll have to add the 02 for cat, OBD2B distributor, heated 02 sensor, the external Crank sensor on the oil pump, still would need a jumper harnes, etc.... Go with the P30 or the PR3 only.
