Default Size exhaust on a boosted f23

What size exhaust should I go with on a boosted f23 motor? 2.25" or 2.5"? I have got missed reviews and I would like an expert opinion. My preference will be a dual 2.5" exhaust (2.5" straight through to the y pipe) but I'm afraid if that might be overkill. Would I still have enough back pressure?

when it comes to turbo, u want as little back pressure as possible depending on ur set up i wud say 3 inch and maybe even bigger

3" is optimal, any bigger won't help you. A y pipe will do more harm then good.

I have a turbo car btw, unlike all the other bItCh3s posting so far (this means you FW..lol...j/k).

3" would be perfect...2.5 is too small...

Why is that bad? Can you explain that a little better. The V6 have 'em.
My set-up will be 4cyl with boost.

I just hate the opening on the bumper.

dont know how much better a y pipe will help flow, but IMO its just extra weight and more noise

3" would be the best option IMO.

I need to change to a full 3" to match my downpipe... but for now I run some 2 3/8" apex'i chit (with a 18" resonator) and it is definately choking my setup.

Small exhaust makes too much backpressure, heat, etc. On the plus side it can help make for some great torque... at the cost of horsepower though.

You are kidding right? The v6 have y-pipes because they need to bring to sets of three cylinders together. Unless you want true duals on a v6 accord.

Go 3" on the exhaust by the way.
