Default New Brake Noise - 05 Civic LX Sedan

Car: 05 Civic LX Sedan Auto

Problem: put car in reverse, drive backwards stop, put car in drive, drive forward, hit brakes - hear a metallic "clunk", like brake pads slapping against rotors or something. It never happens unless its the first time I apply the brakes in drive, after switching from going backwards in reverse

Question: Is this normal? Are the pads coming off of the rotor when I start going forward after just going backwards and then clanking when I put on the brakes??

This doesn't make sense to me but I don't know what it could be.

Has anyone heard of this, or is this normal?????

Thanks!!!!

This makes me wonder if this is normal and maybe its so small that no one really notices it.
