code number #3 is your map sensor. so check if its unpluged or its loose.

Ok, done that this morning... I replaced it with one of my buddy's car... Just swap them to check if thats the problem... And it didnt work... If we're talking about the same part, its the thing right under the VIN on the firewall correct??? Guyz, plz help me out, i need my REX to run again... Very inconvient for me to live without a car... I opened the valve cover and seems to be fine... I was afraid of dropping a valve which a member in this forum had told me... Borrowed a compression tester and gonna check it when i have time...

first thing i would look for is.....is it at top dead center?? when was the last time you change your timing belt?? i would check that first.

correct me if i'm wrong...but in most common problems with no starting is......lack of fuel, clogged fuel filter, spark plugs worn out, and most of all timing.

how does your spark plugs look??

I didnt have the tools to do anything... Only had a 10mm and just looked over everything... Under the valve cover, timing belt and stuff like that... Just the basic over look of everything... Now i think imma go check the ECU, my cousin told me to do so when we took a look at the car... I changed the distributor and the map sensor(if its the thing right on top of the VIN number on the firewall) and still gave the same code... Im going to borrow some tools from my friend and take off the spark plugs to check it out along with the compression tester... Thanx alot guyz, if anything is still wrong, i'll keep u guyz posted...
