I have checked all the grounds and they all seem to be connected. I also checked the starter and I guess it is hooked up right since there isnt really another way to hook it up. There is a power wire from the battery going to the starter and then a little wire that clips onto the starter. I just replaced the stock D15 for another D15 and the motor is not locked up. I am not getting power to the fan, which is the weird part. I need to get my car running or it is going to the junk yard.

 

whats it do when you try to start it?

does it click?

Turn your corner lights on...Does the lights Dim as if straining while you attempt to start it?

Do the lights just Go out period when you try to start it?

let us know more of whats going on man...dont send it to the junkyard over something so small.

 

i would check all grounds, especially a vital one going to the thermostat housing on the back of the engine

All the lights work and they don't dim. I turn the key and the starter doesnt even click. I did a starter test by removing the black/white wire and putting a wire straight from the battery to the starter and the starter sounds like it is trying to turn over but it doesnt. I need some help. Is the transmission possibly stopping the starter from turning? The only way I get something out of the starter is using the jumper wire from the battery. Is the motor locked up or could this be the transmission?
