If I could find a cheap one, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
Aren't the 2nd gen's body stiffer than the 3rd gen (not including the ITR)?

I've seen this car in person, it was up for sale by the train station in my town... I was very impressed w/ it and actually put a post about it in the classifides... very, very clean... as fast as an ITR? Don't think so, maybe a '99 Si.
I dunno the owner and I haven't seen the car in a few weeks, so don't ask me about it.

The G2's aren't bad at all...they look very nice when you do the usual things (lowering, wheels and a front lip).
However, I think the seller is missing the most important picture of the car -- the engine pic! LOL

Where do you guys get this stuff?
A 2nd gen GSR is about the same as a 3rd gen GSR speedwise. The 2nd gen is lighter by a few lbs, but it also doesn't make as much HP or torque. And the R will pull far more than one car length on either one.
And the G2 Integra chassis is not nearly as stiff as the G3 Integra/G5 Civic. G2 Integra chassis is based on the G4 Civic chassis.

Second gen GSR's aren't relly that fast. I've raced a guy that lives by me with a second gen GSR and I have intake and exhaust on a 99 LS and we were dead even till middle of third when I started pulling on him. His car is no tstock either. I'm not sure of exact mods but it has at least I/H/E. There is a reason they only made em for one year!!!

Exactly what I was going to say.
A fellow DFHer went and bought a bimmer 330CI commenting that it would take too much to make a racer out of his 2nd gen GSR. He loved the car, but not the flexible chassis...

While the 92 GSR is no Type R by any means, it will smoke an LS Integra any year. Third gear is where it will really pull on an LS. Top end is where the 2gen GSR is at its best. Just to get your facts straight (SickGS) they made them for 2 years. Just for your info I have run a couple Rs straight line and we were very close. I am not a drag racer just using that as a reference point. The 92-93 GSR has very short gear ratios to make up for its low torque output. Yes the chassis is not as stiff as the G3, but handling is on par with the G3 with proper setup.
if you want a kick *** 2nd car i recommend a 90-93 RS.. its the stiffest..
may need a motor swap but hey 1st gen b16a's or 2nd gen's depending on what ya want are only around 1000$ with tranny.. and you got all the other chit already.
I miss my 90 LS.. but id love to find a 90-95 RS 5spd. with a straight body.
all the others have sunroofs.. and it makes a big difference.

Leave it looking stock and tell the kids in the 99+ Si's that your car is stock. It's priceless to see them trying to figure out why a 12 year old car is beating their "tiiite ride".
Before my R, I had a '92 GSR. I loved that car and still thinks it looked and performed very well. It isnt as fast a Type R, but is slightly faster than an Si. The 2nd Gen integra FELT a lot higher quality than 3rd Gens..that is for sure. I could actually wax that car without having to worry about pushing in my rear quarterpanels
