Has anyone had these tires on their car before?
So i am looking at new wheels for my car and i see these tires being advertised for a good price. I think they are Korean and the are called " Wanli " and the other name was "Nankang". i saw these in a Sport Compact Car magazine in an ad for http://www.wheelguyz.com
I haven't used them, but if you're looking for a place to buy Nankang tires, Discount Tire sells 'em.
My friend had some on his hatch, he just has a stock b16 and they didn't last that long, thay had alright grip but nothing amazing that would make me want them personaly.
Hope this info helps

Both are "cheap" tires. The Wanli is a segmented tire. Cheap copy of a Yokohama. I personally would not want a Wanli tire. Nankangs are decent for the money. The only problem I have ever had with them is cracking of the sidewalls on the NSII. If you look at the tire and how the casing is you'll see the sidewall is very rounded. They tend to crack sometimes right where the tread meets the sidewall. I usually will put a Nankang on a car that has been lowered quite a bit. Again looking at the casing, if you take a 205/40-17 Toyo and a 205/40-17 Nankang, the Nankang will actually be a shorter and narrower tire, just because of the mold.
Sidenote- Nankangs weight carrying capacity is also a little low.
