Default car doesn't want to start

i have a 89 crx dx and my problem is my car will start up in the mornings just fine, but later as the day goes on and it gets hotter the fuel pump will not turn on. i have to keep turning the key back and forth, then finally it will "catch" and the pump will come on. any ideas as to what might be the problem? could it be a relay? please help, it is getting really annoying

its right above the hood lever under the steering wheel. i'd maybe see if you can run some solder in there to clean things up

yup a faulty connection will definitely cause the relay to malfunction...look if u can find any broken or open connections and fix if possible...if not then u need a new one <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by 89txrex &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">chill out bro, i did understand what they told me. i was just being sarcastic. </TD></TR></TABLE>that was not sarcasm it was beinadickism...im not here to give anyone a hard time im here to learn and teach man...the whole point of this forum is to help out fellow honda owners
