I know a few of you guys are from the tri state area, so that's why I'm posting it here. Anyway, does anyone know of any cheap paint shops that will do a decent job on a car? I'm planning on doing all the prep, I just need it to be painted and cleared. And this is not for my integra, it's for a DD EG I just got, I'm just looking to make it look decent, not perfect by any means.

know where a maco is in my area? I've never seen one....(I've heard if you throw the painter an extra hundred or so he will throw on a few more coats.) Any suggestions?

 

There is a Maaco in Hunts point (wonder how I know ). If you prep the caR for them they end up doing a pretty decent job. I've seen some Maaco'ed caRs that don't look half bad. What's your definition of cheap? I know lots of shops that some may consider "reasonable" and then a bunch of big baller body shops

well cheap as in its my dail driver and i dont really give a **** about it....i just dont want it to look like every other hatch you see and you say ****** ricers..what a pos

Which Tri State area are you talking about?

If you're looking for a paint shop around here, perhaps near the Tri State Tollway (another name for I-294 as it goes around Chicago), I can recommend a few...

 

lol you bring your **** to corona, your paint will chip off with rocks hitting your bumper. Maaco will so a better job that corona, corona is just to get the car painted for a short time, nothing more nothing less
