this might sound dumb, but i was just wondering is it hard to install headers? i heard that you have to lift the engine out and stuff. i have a ep3 which the headers are in the back of the engine compartment.

its really easy to do. theres an article on how to do it here http://www.k-series.com/tech_d...EADER
Changing the Header (there is only one) on an EP is not difficult. I am a mechanical retard and managed to do it by myself (almost)
. You take the old one off, and put the new one on in the same place. It really is that simple. It can be a little awkward to get to some of the bolts on the back of the block but its not really not that bad. The real trick is the spring bolts holding the header to the cat, and the bolts on the header brace/support that connects the header to the frame. These are bad to rust up and snap. I suggest having a good penetrating oil (PB blast or Liquid Wrench) and putting it on those bolts the night before and letting it soak. A decent breaker bar will also be your friend. I also suggest going ahead and getting a couple of replacement bolts and having them on hand just in case.
