Default Shift Kits

I'm in a bind when it comes down to getting a short shift kit. I'm all about getting the most bang for my buck. So, can anyone tell me anything about trying to get this on ebay? I was on there the other day and saw numerous kits, roughly from $5-$40. Is this a safe buy?

No, the cheap **** is usually weak and breaks in half. Spend 50 bucks more and get a quality one that won't break on you.

look for the ones made of steel, they are usually about the same price as the aluminum ones.

Depends how I'm driving. If I'm racing, I usually slam it.

<------ Autozone short shifter, July of 2000. I've gone through about five different d-series motors, and four b-series motors, the $19.99 autozone shifter and the GSR shift **** have remained there the entire time.
