Due to the increase in R's being stolen, I think one of the things that we should do is remove all of our mods listed in our R website.....If you don't know which one I am talking about, im me. No need in having people that don't belong there checking it out....

I honestly think that our site may have something to do with it.....as far as location and mods go

maybe that website should be closed. ITR owners have a way of finding each other - advertising your car is a stupid idea. Even removing the mods doesn't matter...people will still steal and strip an entirely stock R.

 

I think you are on the right track Mar. (That's why my mods aren't listed in my signature like other members on this site)

 

hehe yeah since when did thieves get picky about which type r's they steal, the one with the intake or the one without? i dont think they give a rats. but yeah now that you mention it i may make my location and stuff a little more anonymous on the "R page"

i think the fact that your car is laced with WEAPON-R and APC makes it an automatic theft deterrent...

I'm not real sure why mods would make your R more desireable to steal. Stock it has enough for most theives. Maybe if you had some hard to find or expensive JDM parts. That's the only thing I can think of. Telling people where you live or what your car looks like it probably the worst thing to do.

I dont think the guys that stole my car was on this website saying, Oh Mario lives in NY and has an AEM and jdm header. No he said oh thats a itr and i'm gonna strip it. If it has mods than thats just an added bonus.
