wtf my VTEC!!!!
yo guys i have a 93 honda civic hatch .. its a cx and i have a b16a.... well i used a p05 ecu so i could break in the mota.... but when my p28 came in i plugged it in and it didn't hit vtec ..... my friend just got his swap from hmotors and i used his p30 and it still didn't work.... the thing is when i had the p05 my check engine light wasent on ... but with the p28 and the p30 my check engine light is on .... WTF!!!!!!!

u might answer your own question if you find out what it's throwing.
Alot of things must be perfect in order for vtec to engage, so just check everything out.

Check all of your wiring first. There is a great link stickied in the EG forum that shows what every pinout is for on a P28 and what wires are what coming out of your harness.
Then check your oil level and then check your oil pressure.
More than likely you have a wiring issue somewhere.

yes, MIL=engine runs in safe mode meanig no vtec..check your cel fix the problem, and you'll have your precious vtec..

anyway i finally figureed out what codes im shooting... my car has been rewired by the ecu and all the wires colors are different .... im gettin code 22,41,19 .... but i dont understand why im gettin 19 in a 5spd car... i am using my friends p30ecu that he got from hmotors with his swap.... otherwise its the vtec pressure valve,, primary o2 and automatic transmisson lockup .. wtf .... on my car my pressure sensor is broken off how can i bypass this... someone told me to ground it .. is that right??
