Default quick newb question on turbo timer

Do the wires that go to the ignition on a turbo timer go the the main harness on the ignition or does it involve anything with connecting to the ecu. Any threads on turbo timer installs would be great. Thanks

No there should be no wires to the ECU, all connections should be to the ign. harness, unless there are safety shut down wires, [hood pin, tach. for over rev shut down] 94
