05 RSX Type S...What would you recomend??
I just bought a 05 type s and i want to know wether i should get a cold air intake or a short ram....i have heard people sayin that wih the CAI you have to relocate the windsheild washer fluid bottle above the intake and it tends to leak onto the filter, which is obviously not good...so should i play it safe with the short ram?
Also which would you prefer?
AEM or INJEN

CAI > V2 > SRI in most peoples opinions.
Also I have seen more people prefer Injen over AEM but that was before AEM offered the replacement windshield washer fluid bottle.
O yea, do a search to find individual reviews and opinions and whatbnot. They might help you make your desicion.

injen comes wit the bottle too i prefer injen...aem has bad cust. service...from what i heard from many HT members and clubrsx members too..
If you're going to get a CAI I would recommend the AEM CAI over the Injen.
Both intakes come with washer bottle replacements for the 05's and no relocation is necessary.
They are pretty much the exact same intakes except AEM is supposed to sound better according to a few dyno comparions between the two I've read.
If you're wanting an SRI I would go with the AEM V2. It has been considered the best SRI for overall hp gains and sound.

Maybe if you order directly from AEM but they are pretty expensive when you do that. Order elsewhere and I doubt you'll have any problems receiving the intake.

competch icebox...over priced modded stock air box.
Club RSX did a dyno test on a stock type s between the AEM and INJEN cold air intake.
AEM= +6hp
Injen=+9
Exact same car, same temp, humidty and they did this test 3 times. injen is proven to make more hp.

So your sayin to take the injen over the aem...thats surprising how can one produce more than the other if they are both practically the same thing...just with a different name!!
