Default low-seating position brackets?

Anyone know of where I can find some of these for my car? I have plenty of head room until I put my helmet on, then I need another inch or two. I've heard that someone makes them, but nobody can tell me who.

i had a simple wedge enginer seat bracket with my last seat, then with my new seat the guy who made my cage made me a braket and with the recaro side mounts my seat set real low, i love it.

can you use the wedge engineering seat brackets with stock seats? Reason I ask is because in my 94 civic coupe, with a helmet on, I'd touch the headliner most likely. Also, I seem to have to recline the seat a bit too much so my head doesn't touch in normal driving.

I like to sit up straight as much as possible so my hands are closer to the steering wheel so its eaiser to control it in the turns. But I can't pull the seat up all the way or my knees would hit the dash....ugh and I'm only 5'-10"

Not without a decent amount of hacking and welding the stock sliders.

you can always do the chop-out-some-of-the-seat-material trick. i took out my cushion, used a sharp razor blade to etch a checkerboard pattern in the raised block of foam where the *** is usually placed, and carefully shaved off these newly formed blocks. zip ties make for easy reinstallation of the upholstery. (thanks mark sans for the idea)

between the lack of foam and extra play in the seat springs, i got a good inch or two of head room with no less than 1/2" of foam under me. i now only hit my head With a helmet on. it also ended up looking a lot nicer than i expected.

for some that want someting lower than their OEM seats, DEL SOL seats are very low to the ground.

Otherwise I'd go for the brakets most speak about.

Yeah, Del Sol seats are significantly lower than any other OEM seat, almost as low as my looooow Pro2000s in fact. They have much better bolstering than any of the other seats as well.

Del Sol seats have better bolstering than Integra or RSX seats? Interesting...

But really, if anyone knows of a seat rail swap and/or modification I could do to get the OEM Integra seat lower, I'd seriously be interested.

Definitely better than Integra seats, including ITR seats (which are really just reclothed 'Teg seats when it comes down to it, with somewhat different padding underneath). I couldn't say about RSX seats, as I've never sat in one. I was under the impression that those (and S2000 and EP3 seats for that matter) required fairly significant modification to fit into another chassis. If you want a factory seat lower, you're gonna have to look into something custom, as most of the good aftermarket mounts are made to work with aftermarket one-piece seats (such as the Mugen mounts/rails).

I think the del sol seats suck a bag of ***, but if they're lower I guess they're worthwhile.

You clearly haven't sat in good ones then They're not the best thing in the world, but they're infinitely better than stock Civic seats, and much better than ANY teg seat, including ITRs.

I know the memory fab bracket/slider gets you way low if you want (its adjustable) But I dunno if i would recomend it. Fitment wasn't great in my freinds GSR (We had to cut and weld the rear inside hole) and I just don't know if I trust it. Its also too expensive. If you want low though, it gets you REAL low.
otherwise wedge (who makes everyones brackets, corbeau, sparco etc.) seems good, or side mount it.
