Default K-series: 2672cc preliminary results

The setup is identical to the results obtained with the 2240cc motor, with the exception of longer 105mm stroke. It has the same cylinder head, cams, ITB's and header. As you can see, the graph is not pretty. We have serious issues with the ignition/electrical system and could not make a clean full pass. Therefore, no tuning could be performed other than a conservative attempt to stabilize AFR. The ECU is pulling ignition timing erratically past 6700rpm, so we called it a day before doing any damage. No cam angle tuning, no low speed/high speed lobe tuning, no composite mapping - no, nada, zilch. Crap, it really sucks (at the moment) that we couldn't even begin to tune. Oh well, still broke 300whp on the dynojet and made 235ft/lbs of meaty torque in its very unoptimal state on a 2 gallon MS-109/ 2 gallon C16 blend (that's all the fuel we had around).

Thanks, we'll need the luck. It's better than being good in my book! These gremlins are pissing me off. What a downer.

if they can get this engine to about 2.13 WHP
per Ci ...wich most B series race engines do..

with this 160 Ci engine it will make 347 HP to the tires ... looking good so far ron ...

Race engines, need race heads....

Once we restore the ability to fully tune, I'm sure we'll max out this particular cylinder head and will need more flow.

Amazing. Give it about 6 more months and even the hardcore B series all motor heads will give in..

What I love about Ron is that his results are bulletproof. He dynoes his motors on dynojets and dynopacks and is not afraid to show us what is really going on.
