Default Changing Tranny Fluid on new car (bad)?

I have an 05 RSX-S, and have about 5k miles on it. I am looking into swapping out the tranny fluid with Redline MTL.

Now my question is, I would like to know if their would be any downsides to changing it at this early stage? Synchro damage, seal damage, or any other parts that could be damaged. I would assume that it would not be a harm to do so, but want to make sure.

From what I read is that Redline MTL is recommended and the meets the standard that the car manual states.

Anyone have any inputs on this?

Transmission fluid is one of those things you can't really change too often. I say go for it.

That's what I was thinking. My main reason for changing it is for the upcoming winter, as 2nd gear can be a pain at times, so I want to be prepared..
