I have a 93' Civic with a JDM B16A (hydro/lsd tranny) with stock mounts.

My intermediate shaft has a 100% torn boot, and it is now clicking horribly everytime I time I drive. It seems like its gonna break really soon so I'm not driving my car till its fixed.

I'm trying to figure out what I should tell the auto-parts store I need, since I dont have the original motor for the car. I already swapped the passenger side before, but I dont remember what the axle was from, but the only problem I had was my car doesnt have ABS and that one did.

If anyone could help me out it'd be much appreciated. THANKS!!

Edit: It doesn't matter if the new axle has ABS or not... There's a slotted ring on the end of the axle that's for the ABS, the ring can be easily popped off.

 

Thanks, the loud noise turned out to be 2 finger-loose lug nuts .... doh!

Still have to change the axle, thanks for the info!

The intermediate shaft doesnt have a boot the Axle does

Use 94+ Integra Axles
