Default Siren Install

Hey. I've never installed an alarm before but had one done last week. The diagram on the left is what my alarm looks like right now. I was wondering, if I buy another siren off ebay, can I just cut into the wires of the current siren and run it in parrallel with the new siren? like the diagram on the right? Thanks

Also... if I was to get a self-powered siren, is it hard to install?

Gotta know how much the siren output is off the alarm, and then find out how much the current siren draws...

I've heard people doing it without problems, but you'll want to make sure the siren output will support the draw of 2 sirens.

My Civic has 2, but one is an interior piezo siren, which doesn't draw too much...

Again... Need to know how much the siren output is capable of driving...

If 3 sirens is too much, then you can power the original siren off that output, and have that wire trigger a relay to drive the other 2.

Here is how to hook up a relay:
86- to ground
85- from the alarms siren output, [brown]
87- from a 12V+ constant source, [fused]
87a- not used
30- to red wire of both sirens
The black wires from sirens go to ground.

This website will help you understand relays more.http://www.the12volt.com/ If you have any questions just let me know cause i just installed an extra siren on my alarm.
