Default BFG Radials?

I want a pair of BFG Drag Radials that i can put on my car and drive to the track with and then take 'em off when i get home. (i'm looking for those street legal ones, u know.) only problem is, i don't know what size tire and rim will fit on my hatch (96 civic hatchback. b18c1 engine swap if that matters). i have 195/50-15 on my car now, but i wanna get whole diff rims just for the front. anyone got a link to a rim and tire package i can order online? and tips would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I'm running 225/50-15 on a 92 HB with a H22 and they work quite well. There is a noticiable difference between the 225s and 205s.

60 footers on these can range from 1.7's to 2.1's and higher. It all depends on vehicle weight, Power and driver skill. Nasteboyii (Dan) pulled a 1.74 on the 225/50's this weekend in his PW/s car weighing 2400lbs. I personally hit 1.9's on average.

Why do people keep breaking Drivetrain parts? I'm on a complete OEM drivetrain and have been for years without any problems. Not even broken axles.

What kind of clutch do you run? And no breakage ever even on slicks?

I'm wondering 'cause I've never broken anything either, and I run an ACT Xtreme PP w/ stock organic disc. My thinking is the organic disc doesn't engage harsh, so it doesn't shock the drivetrain.

i think 205 should be good considering the amount of power and tq u have. 128lb of tq will not really break out these tires. 15x7 rim if possible...wider is better. lol

here are the specs on these tires:
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/...FTADR

diameter for the 205/50-15 is 23" and the 225/50-15 is 23.9, so there is about a 1" diff in diameter

if ur car is all motor then the 205 should be good. boost or nitrious get the 225.

I went wends, couldn't figure how to burn out properly (1st gear, lol). I talked to R@mon today after buying his clutch and he said roll over some water b4 hand...etc. I understand it now.

My 60ft were horrible....clutch was slipping x 2 I had my car ready too, installed omnipower coilovers (very nice btw), took out my system, etc. it was a bad day for me, but i beat a f150 lightning!

odd thing was it was slipping on the track, but on highway going home it was fine. i guess its the load taking off from a dead stop that made the clutch slip.

do a second gear burn out, so that you can get them to heat up! just put it in 2nd, rev higher than 6K, and dump the clutch let them spin for a 3 sec count!

will do. reason why i didnt do it at Moroso was b/c i had no idea how to do it and i didnt want to stall! lol...a red civic that ran 10s (ek) stalled, but he trapped like 130 going down the strip.

but yeah, i asked R@mon after buying his clutch how to do it and he explained to me. i'll keep you guy updated. 2.0 60ft is good enough for me.

I am currently running a CM stage 3 (carbon kevlar disc/ stg. 3 PP). I've used the ACT xtreme w/ a steet organic disc as well w/ the same results. I also think that launch method has alot to do w/ drivetrain failure. I used to have an ACT unsprung 6 puck w/ Heavy duty PP in my NA B16 setup and would leave the line @ 8K+ rpm. This was before I learned to preload but, insetad of just dumping I let it out more gently (Just slower than simply sliding my foot off of the pedal) and would cut low 1.7 60 footers. Never had a drivetrain issue that way either.
