auto to h23 manuel conversion = fuc%in amazing!!
couple weeks ago my auto tensioner failed on me and bent 11 of out 16 skunk 2 valves in my head. So i decided to rebuild my head with new valve guides and skunk 2 high compression valves. I was finally able to test drive my car yesterday and it was the difference between light and day. not only does the running run smoother, it no longer makes that whinning noise during acceleration. So for all you guys out there that has done the conversion..what kind of results have you had????? Thanks in advance!

Your words are worded a little unwordedly.
Seriously though - did you go back to skunk2 internals in the head? How much did this little impromptu rebuild set you back?

sorry, whenever i pulled the head off, i decided to port and polish the head and the intake manifold ( port matched with the head). and yes I have the complete skunk 2 valve train w/ skunk stage 1 cams and type-s pistons. I also sent my throttle body to maxbore.com to get bored out to 65mm and then polished...
the whole job cost me around $1300 but thats with all new gaskets, seals and hondata intake manifole gasket too
