I was reading on here not too long ago about some T1R product and some people were debating back and forth about whether or not Type One Racing was the same company.
Im assuming Type One Racing is based out of Japan? So is T1R, Type One Racing?

No. T1R is AJ-Racing's own brand that's trying to sound like Type One Racing. They are not the same.

T1R is made in Japan, so I guess it's JDM.

That's correct.

T1R = products marketed by, and often designed by, the guys at A&J Racing in British Columbia, a wholesale distributor for Spoon Sports.

Type One = marketing brand promulgated by Spoon Sports itself.

 

why is it so expensive then ?

 

my best explanation is.... everyone has bills to pay lol i mean if they can get that much money for the parts than they will get it, theres a high demand and they know they can jack the prices up and people wil still pay it

 

Because people *think* it's JDM and are willing to dish out the coin for it.

thats funny you say that because theres a company called spugen they make parts mainly for s2000s

and like said above
t1r=canadian, side brand of a&j racing
type one=japanese, side brand of spoon

 

its a ******* plastic box. in this case i REALLY doubt a brand name is going to add any horse power

 

T1R is made by AJR but its manufactured in Japan, cause a part that i want is backordered in Japan as we speak
