b16a vs b16a2

Besides the redline difference, how is the a2 .. "better"?

the b16a is 10:2 and the b16a2 is 10:4, so it has like.....pfft 10 more hp, still not enough to move a Eg's Fat *** past my Crx stock to stock.

b16a is like 160hp and the b16a2 is 170... I guess its just the little things that make the 10 hp difference... b16a2

converting obd 0 to obd1 made the difference or not?

The B16A2 has slightly better cams, bigger intake manifold, 60mm throttle body (vs 58mm on the 1st gen), better ECU (OBD-I), and thus makes more hp, and peaks at a higher RPM (7800 vs 7600).

it kinda depends on which b16a2 you are talking about

my b16a (jdm xsi motor) is 170
my b16a2 (00 si motor) is 160
