am i supposed to dyno it in 3rd or 4th? i heard it was 3rd...so when i went to the dyno the guy did the first n/a run in 4th and then i told him to do it in 3rd bc i heard it was supposed to be done in 3rd. here are my mods...
H22A1
AEM Cold Air Intake
DC 4-2-1 Headers
Greddy EVO cat-back exhaust
AEM Tru-Power Pullies
ACT Clutch
Short Shifter Adapter
Removed EGR Valve
Removed Balencer Shaft Belt
NX Single Fogger Wet 50 Shot
NGK V-Power 8 heat range Spark Plugs
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump
when he did the run in 4th, i got 167...but then when he went to 3rd, it jumped to 178. wat is it supposed to be?

Well, I can't tell you why they did that... only the way it is supposed to be.
I've always dyno'd my car in 4th. The shop I've dynoed at recommends 4th as well. There is no reason why the prelude would be different from any other car.

You want to dyno in the gear that is closest to a 1:1 ratio with the engine

N/A or FI shouldn't matter</TD></TR></TABLE>
Hmm that spreasheet needs an update...the tranny code / cars aren't always right...
