Hello

About 4 years ago I got one of these:



and I just sold it. I remember hooking all the wires up but the purple one, does anyone know what it is for? I also remember cutting the loop corresponding to the correct cylinder number.

I don't recall seeing a purple wire on mine. The blue wire is for the tach signal.

 

Yeah purple is for dimmer i think for night time driving or daytime driving. i think. Ys you had to cut the loop.

 

Yeh I remember cutting the loop and pushing it back into the body.

What should the purple wire be connected to? I dont remember the lights dimming on the tach, but I dunno

 

I dont think the purple one has to be connected to anything..i think its just a ground of somesort. If you didnt have it connected then it wouldnt dim ...i think.
