I have been searching for a while trying to find a definite answer, but I can't.

Is the only reason LS arp headstuds won't work in a ls/vtec setup (b18a block, b16a head) is because the middle two studs are too long?

I have access to individual arp gsr headstuds, so if I can just buy two of them to replace the longer LS ones, that would be sweet.
