Default OEM Optional CD player from 1990? Any info?

My crx came with this installed (I'm assuming it was either a dealer, or factory option, and a pricey one at that, i imagine). Does anyone have any info on this? How rare is it?

sorry no info but dude i imagine if you go aftermarket you will get rid of the weight of that tape player and such and get a 2x's more powerful unit for half the price.

I've seen that cd before, there aren't many around these days. They are kinda lousy decks by todays standards. They skip a lot, low oversampling, and old converters, and don't play burned disks, and scrathed ones very poorly.
