Aftermarket PR3 ECU Prog, Fuel
To support 200 NA whp using a set of stock 240cc injectors, what is the best program out there for the PR3 ecu?
Trying to save a few bucks here. Hondata is out of the question since it takes $800
to even have the option to change fuel program. Plus, many are having problems with Hondata and the PR3 ecu.
Im wondering if there is a possiblity...
200 whp using 240cc injectors, FPR, and an aftermarket chip program for the PR3 ecu. Will Fuel Pressure setting have to be high?.. above 55psi to support 200whp?
oh shiet, gonna have problems with idle, right?

i offer few different programs...the most rich and aggressive is the mugen program, it will support 200whp without a problem, especially with the help of FPR .....55psi will defiantly be too much recommend about 45psi at most if the stock mugen maps won't do it....also knock sensor is disabled and if you want the second 02 sensor as well
Mugen only offers a 10,000rpm rev limit right?
The 2nd O2 disabled is a good option, but what about Knock?
Isnt knock sensing a good thing? since aftermarket chips have a progressive timing curve.

Well the knock sensor will retard the timing. and if you have enogh fuel you dont need it at all. you can tune it to be more aggresive without a knock sensor. also most of the aftermarket programs need the knoc sensor desensetized
mugens rev limit is 10,000 yes.

good info. So, does knock sensing actually retards timing more than needed?
Mugen & Spoon are the only 2 programs offered for the PR3, right?
What I dont get is.. why they have different vtec engagement point and rev limits.
Who really makes flat or increasing power near 10,000rpm anyway? (stupid Mugen rev limit). Also, Mugen's vtec engagement point is too low.
If I can remember Spoon's vtec engagement is better (higher). But will its fuel prog support 200whp?

I am running this PW0 program that is pretty good and has 2 separate Fuel and Ingnition maps after 5000 rpm and I have been able to put 216.7hp and 139ftlbs to the wheels ..and this computer has no driveability problems what so ever and that's with TODA B' cams to
ajustable rev limit also.the company that Makes the Chip is called KS' Rom and I paid 38000 yen or about 300$
i am able also to burn two different maps onto one chip and use a switch, but one is always a stock chip and the other race....
as far as other chips for PR3, i also offer Mine's, Spoon, Mugen (with 10 000rpm rev limit and 9000rpm limit), as well as PYR chip and few custom chips
