Default EXPO 6?

Ive committed myself to go to EXPO 6. Has there been any 'official' word as to where and when? I"d think things would have to get moving pretty quickly to pull it off...

We just 'reconviened' yesterday...

Give us a month or so from here & we should have some good info to disperse.

Cool?

Jonathan, there was a recent topic on this subject. If you didnt see it its fine because it was up for a short period of time. I dont think alot of people caught wind of the previous thread.

In a nutshell, they are working on it as we speak. White Dragon (wes moore) is putting alot of time and effort into the project,

Expo events are once in a lifetime type deal. I would recommend at least watching it regardless of what part of the country you are from.

Even though I am in Texas, I sure hope its somewhere NE. I know I know, gas for the truck will be alot of money but NE events seems to always have good turnouts. West Coast and Texas tracks I wouldnt recommend for several reasons, track layout, size, local amenities, humid/hot weather, credibility if you are on the west coast. Not knocking on West coast guys but you saw what happened to Expo4, maybe thats why turnout was so small because of the quick change?

Even though the other Expo6 was locked Id still like to know status as well

I think the waiting list would prevent a VIR date anytime soon.

I loved MAM but I would love a more "state of the art" type race track. There was a race track that Brewer had done a photoshoot on that looked really nice.

edit It was in Alabama somewhere.

No matter where it is next year I will be coming fo' sho' To watch, to drive; either or is fine with me.

I remember Jeff(Budman) getting my user name mixed up with Wes(White Dragon) in the Expo 5 thread. I was reading it and I spotted, "Big thanks to White Rocket for all the support and hard work to get this event to happen" I was like WTF? It was pretty funny. I didn't know I was playing such a big role

Hopefully your not talking about montgomery motor speedway Thats just a 1/4 mile track. I don't remember any other track down there that were worth while.

If it helps, the whole state is pretty much free for all, so you could make a track out of any road/highway. We did...

OOPs - I don't even remember that screw up. Since I've known wes for ~5-6 years, you'd think I'd know his name

Victor - thanks for the offer. You're awesome!! I'll keep your offer in mind.

Let's book it now for Expo 9!
seriously

What... we are not going to have Expo 9?
Who would be willing to put $50 in a fund to hold the track?

I think it should be wherever the best turnouts have been. Its got to be more fun when there are more people to interact with and drink a beer with than just a small crowd. Especially at such a big event.

It's also expensive, even if you cut back to VIR North.
