Brake light stays on when cold
When the car is cold - example - on the way to work in the morning - my brake light stays on the dash. I know my actually e-brake isn't hanging in the back - just wondering where my problem is? It doesn't do this while warm etc - only while cold. And the e brake is fully dis-engaged and doesnt drag.
Any clue?

it's your fluid level. Mine did this last winter.. and I believe the one before that also. If you check the level it may look fine, but just add a touch more to top it off and the light should go out
there is a honda service bulletin on this. you need to replace the float on the master cylinder cap and the filter in the master cyl resovoir. pick them up at your local honda dealer. the cost is under 10 bucks.
mine does it too sometimes....i have a 98 base. it stays on sometimes till it warms up. the fluid is full. If there is a TSB, the part is free i thought? or just on recalls?
